NBA Birthdays: Celebrating Players born on October 24th

With a total of over 5,000 players in NBA history, there is at least one player born on every day of the calendar year – including three leap day ballers. Our detailed breakdown highlights the players born on each day of the year.

Below are the most notable NBA players born on October 24.

Jaylen Brown (1996):

There aren’t many players that had a better summer than this guy. Brown was one of the key players to the Celtics championship run, winning Finals MVP in the victory over the Dallas Mavericks. That’s just the cherry on top of what’s been a remarkable run, with Brown making the All-Star team in three of the last four seasons. His career has really blossomed during that span, averaging 24.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Winning Finals MVP and Conference Finals MVP in a championship run showcases just how valuable he is to this championship team, and that’s saying something for the most successful franchise in NBA history.

Nikola Vucevic (1990):

Vucevic has been an underrated player throughout his career. The big man from Switzerland was the Philadelphia 76ers’ 16th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He only played one season in Philly, but Orlando saw something and acquired him during his sophomore season. That’s where things turned around for Vucevic. He played nine seasons for the Magic where he earned two All-Star appearances and averaged 17.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2020 and still plays there today. Vucevic is averaging 18.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists with Chicago.
