The Return of the NBA Creator Cup to Las Vegas

It’s almost time for the

third NBA Creator Cup game

! Can the stars show out on the


hardwood?

The competitive 5-on-5 basketball game, featuring four eight-minute quarters of exciting


action, will be broadcast live at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 15 on YouTube and


the NBA App.

 

The game will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas – tickets are on sale now!

Confirmed to play in the game:

Jesser: Co-founder of the BucketSquad, Jesser is a gaming Youtuber, famous for his videos on basketball, NBA 2K and other challenges.

D’Aydrian Harding: Harding, founder of the Stay Sober brand, has amassed more than 12 million followers with his comedic content.

Tristan Jass: Jass became a creator after crossing up his teacher in a viral video. Since then, he’s generated billions of views from his mesmerizing trick shots, vlogs and practicing with G-League and college teams.

YPK Raye: Whether he’s on the court or taking you on an adventure, YPK Raye will wildly entertain you with his unique skits, highlights and vlog content.

Cam Wilder: Wilder, coach of the Rod Wave Elite AAU team, brings energy, silliness and skill to his content on all platforms.

Carson Roney: After playing basketball at Shawnee State University in Ohio, Roney has earned more than 5 million followers on TikTok with basketball and lifestyle content.

Kris London: London, also widely known as LSK in the gaming community, played at Oral Roberts and Newman University, is one of YouTube’s most recognizable faces in the sports and gaming community.

JDub: After playing basketball at Lamar University and Victoria College, JDub is now a popular content creator whose channel is a variety of all things basketball, comedy skits and vlogs, giving fans an inside look at his life.

Marcelas Howard: Howard, aka the Backyard legend, is a comedic basketball YouTuber and assistant coach at American River College in Sacramento.

Chris Staples: A professional dunker who inspired Dwight Howard and Aaron Gordon, Staples played four years with the Harlem Globetrotters, starred in the film Slamma Jamma and was a contestant on The Bachelorette.

Bree Green: A former Harlem Globetrotter who played at the University of Texas El Paso, Green loves working with kids, watching her basketball clients’ skills improve, and showing off her trick shots and innovative moves to her fans while having fun and embracing her goofiness.

ItsPikaaaa: A gamer and sports fan, ItsPikaaaa has earned more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok.

Meka: After playing college ball at North Country in Buffalo, NY, Emeka Uzomba, aka Meka, has earned over 1M followers on social media by blending comedy and basketball skills.

Trey Phills: A former G Leaguer and the son of former NBA player Bobby Phills, Trey Phills played four years at Yale University before becoming a content creator, making videos about basketball and his life’s journey.

Jayda Bovero: After playing for the New Mexico Lobos Women’s basketball team, Bovero became a social media strategist and digital creator, collaborating with successful brands like Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Jordan Brand, Nike, and Mitchell and Ness.

Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews, a longtime content creator and shooting coach who recently had an exhibit featured at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and The Professor, an And1 mixtape tour veteran, streetball legend and YouTuber since 2009, will serve as coaches for the contest.

In all, the social media stars expected to play in the NBA Creator Cup have earned more than 100 million followers.

The 2024 NBA Creator Cup is the first of three creator-focused events planned by the league this season. Other games are expected to be held as part of All-Star Weekend and Summer League.

Last year’s In-Season Tournament Creator Cup went to overtime!

The Hoopers squad, featuring Jass, Green and Raye, among others, came back to beat the Ballers, who were coached by Matthews, 87-86.

In the Summer League Creator Cup, the game came down to the final possession.

JDub’s double-double (24 pts, 14 reb) led the Ballers to victory, 81-79.

Tristan Jass led all scorers in that game, putting up 31 pts and 10 boards for the Hoopers.
